RH YADAV INFRA operates Micro Tunnel Boring Machines (MTBMs) from Herrenknecht / Germany for accurate, safe and efficient trenchless pipeline installation. Microtunneling enables us to negotiate roads, railways, rivers, canals and built–up areas without open excavation at the surface.

Our MTBM systems are remotely controlled from a surface control container, using laser guidance and real–time monitoring of face pressure, torque, thrust and spoil removal. This allows precise control over line, level and gradient, reducing the risk of settlement or damage to nearby structures.

Microtunneling Execution Methodology

1. Design & Planning

Selection of drive path, shaft locations, pipe class and MTBM configuration based on geotechnical and utility data.

2. Shaft Construction

Construction of launch and reception shafts with proper shoring, bracing and base slabs to support jacking loads.

3. MTBM Drive

Remote operation of MTBM with simultaneous pipe jacking, lubrication and spoil removal through slurry / conveyor systems.

4. Completion & Handover

Final breakthrough, removal of MTBM, connection to existing networks and as–built documentation.
